Data protection

Personal data are treated in strict confidence and is neither sold nor made available to third parties. In close cooperation with our hosting providers, we make every effort to protect databases from outside access, data loss, misuse and falsification.

When you access our websites, the following data are stored in log files: IP address, date, time, browser request and general information on the operating system and browser.

The usage data form the basis for statistical, impersonal evaluations for the purpose of tracking trends so that we can improve the information on offer. Under the Federal Act on the Surveillance of Postal and Telecommunications Traffic (SPTA), there is a statutory duty to store data on all connections made in the past six months.

Personal data made available through the contact form or e-mail is also treated confidentially. The online transmission of personal data is at your own risk. The data transmitted with the contact form or by e-mail is entered into our separate internal address database and not connected with the log files. However, the transmission is not encrypted, and we cannot rule out that data may be lost in transit or be viewed by third parties. Data which is sent unencrypted via e-mail over the internet is not secure. Therefore, no confidential information should be sent to us by e-mail.
